Snowy days in Cobb County, Georgia ... again
Yesterday, Friday 14, 2014, around lunch time, I published a post with many pictures with the same title as this one. Here we are now Saturday evening and this past post never updated in Blogger. This is a test to see if this post will update. If it does, please read my post below. (I guess if it does not I'll just delete this.) I have had this problem before, and I don't know why. I just wrote my post as usual and clicked on "publish" - it did publish, but never updated.

Because of much spam, comments are monitored before being published.
I didn't see your post yesterday, but today I see both of them. Blogger has somtimes strange behaviour...
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for the technical troubles! The photo is beautiful. Hope things have thawed out without much damage.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's all there, complete with lots of wonderful photos. Maybe it was because there were so many of them that it took time to upload?
ReplyDeleteYes, both have appeared showing they were posted the same time.
ReplyDeleteI read yesterday's post and think I even commented. Sometimes Blogger takes awhile to post, I cannot imagine why. I got one from another blogger yesterday that was dated August! :-)
ReplyDeleteBoth appeared for me this morning. And how I loved your cool images. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteExtraordinairement jolie ctte photo hivernale chere amie!C'est bien etrange toutes ces variations climatiques, on a un excellent temps ici mais de toute facon j' aime l'hiver.

I had that problem---and still do sometimes. Someone said to keep Publishing over and over till you see it in your reader.....(Blogger is so screwy sometimes----)
ReplyDeleteI found that THAT worked...At least I think it did. My readership seems to have gotten smaller and smaller as rime goes by. Maybe I am boring people....lol!
Vagabonde, on this Sunday evening I have enjoyed this post and also your February 14 snowy Valentine to us.
ReplyDeleteIt's clear to me that the recent snows have left lots more beauty around your home than I have seen on the upper west side of Manhattan, although I expect that you had more inconvenience than we did.
All those snow-edged branches and birds and beautifully lit areas are gorgeous. Your cameras have definitely responded to your artist's eye.
Up here, it is a repetition of *pretty snow fall, efficient snow plow action on the streets, so-so shoveling of sidewalks, icy refreezing as temperatures drop below 32 F either overnight or even during the day. And then, as a knitting pattern would instruct, repeat from * until...well, not sure until when....
As always, your posts are filled with wise words, excellent observations, and wonderful photographs.
Best wishes to you and yours. xo
I hate when that happens. I spent several hours on one post and when I hit publish, it completely vanished. It was not even in my drafts.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteBlogger is doing some very strange things sometimes...
ReplyDeleteSomehow it's the fault of your internet provider; or, your computer needs upgrading.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo ;o) I have to go read your other post ;o) Blogger has a mind of it's own sometimes ;o)
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely shot, and I do see your post from valentines day! Hoping for spring soon, and bet that you are too!
ReplyDeleteI've read both your posts, Vagabonde!
ReplyDeleteNice photos, I see you are in winter now, real ice on the river!
I have been able to read both the posts,
ReplyDeleteIt updated, and this is a great photo! On to the other!
ReplyDeleteDEar Vagabonde, technical problems are so frustrating to me so I hope that you aren't experiencing any more of them today. I read the previous posting about the lake and neighbors and the snow and the birds and simply the ups and downs right now of living in Georgia with such unseasonable weather. But you have such lovely photographs to share with us that I'm enthralled with the place you call home. Peace.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures, they're gorgeous. Yes two posts on my reading list and read them both.

Please let me know when you come to Saint Petersburg!
ReplyDeleteThe best time in in June, in time of "White nights" when we have no dark time between 11pm till 6am.
Have a nice weekend!
